Colombo is a blend of spices made from turmeric, mustard, black pepper, paprika, coriander, cumin and fenugreek. Its mild, fragrant flavour combines easily with a wide range of dishes to produce a delicious result. Colombo can be used in both simple and sophisticated dishes. Ideal in a sauce-based dish of chicken or pork, accompanied by potatoes and vegetables. Colombo also goes very well with rice and seafood. Colombo is similar to curry, but with milder flavours due to the many spices that make up this blend.
