The Barbecue Napoléon Phantom 425 runs on gas (preferably propane). It features 4 main burners with a total output of 13.6 KW. The burners light with ease thanks to the JETFIRE instant ignition system, which sends out a jet of flame. It also features a SIZZLE ZONEᴹᴰ infrared side burner and Wave stainless steel cooking grates offering ample cooking space.
Like its predecessors, the Napoleon Freestyle 425 Barbecue features two side shelves, including the one including the Sizzle Zone™ offering spacious work areas for preparing your marinades and grills. The shelves feature 3 utensil hooks to keep your essential kitchen tools close at hand. The Phantom also features an integrated bottle opener for aperitif lovers!
Its improved multifunctional cooking rack leaves enough space to cook a wide choice of meats, fish, vegetables and side dishes for 13 to 14 people.
Features of the Napoleon Freestyle 425 Gas grill
The Napoleon Phantom 425 Gas Barbecue is the largest model in the range, with a cooking surface divided into 2 grids measuring 60 x 45 cm for a total of 2700 cm². In this new Phantom model, Napoleon has made improvements by replacing the enamelled cast-iron grates with moulded stainless steel cooking grates. This form of Wave grate is a staple of the Napoleon brand. What's more, this healthy metal ensures excellent heat transmission to the food for successful cooking.
Its two cooking surfaces create two different heat zones for simultaneous cooking. So you can sear meat at high temperature on the right burner, while sautéing side dishes at low heat on the left burner.
The two-tiered configuration of the burner covers optimizes heat distribution. They protect the burners and redistribute grease and juices upwards for delicious, perfectly cooked meals. Another special feature of the Napoleon Phantom 425 gas barbecue is its front-opening door, which makes it easy to change your gas bottle. This storage space can accommodate cylinders up to 13kg. The side shelves of this Napoleon Freestyle Barbecue can be folded down for easy storage.

The advantages of the Napoleon Freestyle grill
With a maximum power output of 3 kW, this grill is capable of reaching 800°C in just 30 seconds on the SIZZLE ZONE infrared burner zone. This allows food to be marked very quickly and seared perfectly. At lower temperatures, the SIZZLE ZONE can be used as a side warmer for sauces and side dishes. This grill is also equipped with a carbon-look ACCU-PROBE™ thermometer to monitor your cooking with precision.
The Napoleon Freestyle grill is easy to maneuver thanks to its large, sturdy wheels. Despite its sturdy design, you can easily move it from its storage space to your garden. Its 2 fixed feet confer great stability once it's set up.
