  • Olive oil
  • Tomato sauce
  • 500 g of mozzarella cheese

Pizza XL Spatula with Cutter

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

1.Prepare your pizza dough by letting it rise as stated on the packaging. Then flatten the dough with your fingers and palms until it is very thin. Brush each side with olive oil then place the dough between two pieces of wax paper.

2.Preheat your pellet grill to 220 °C by positioning the pizza stone in advance, then start to prepare and cut the pizza toppings while the grill heats up.

3. Take the wax paper off the dough and place the dough directly on the hot pizza stone (or directly on the cooking grid). We recommend using a pizza stone for more consistent cooking. Bake the dough on one side for about 3-4 minutes or until the top is slightly puffy and the bottom is crisp.

4. Remove the dough from the grill and place it on a piece of tinfoil with the grilled side up. Brush with tomato sauce and sprinkle with cheese. Place the slices of pepperoni, mushrooms and peppers on top (you can also add other toppings, of course). Sprinkle with oregano and parmesan.

5. Using a spatula, place the pizza on the cooking grid. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the cheese melts and the dough is crisp and brown

TIPS

- Save time by using pre-made pizza dough (available in your bakery, local grocery store or supermarket).

- Experiment to suit your taste with a variety of ingredients such as grilled peppers, goat cheese, onions, Italian sausage, minced beef, bacon, olives, fresh basil, anchovies, tomatoes, shrimp, spinach or avocado. But make sure you avoid using raw meat as a topping.
